A Houston air conditioner does not get a break. Summer runs from May into October, afternoons sit in the high 90s, and the humidity means the system has to pull water out of the air as well as cool it. When an AC starts struggling here, it shows up as a house that will not get below 78, a system that runs all day without shutting off, warm air from the vents, ice on the copper line outside, or a power bill that jumped without explanation.
We repair, replace and install central air conditioners and ductless mini split systems for homes and businesses across Houston. Every call starts with measurements: refrigerant pressures, the temperature split across the coil, amp draw on the compressor and fan, and the condition of the capacitor and contactor. That tells us whether you need a part, a cleaning or a new system, and you get the number before we start.
Estimates are free and the parts we install carry a 10-year part warranty.
Signs you need air conditioning service

On the job
A condenser beside a brick home, filmed on one of our jobs. Real equipment and real work, no stock footage.
Four steps, no surprises
How a air conditioning call works
The same process on a single mini split or a commercial rooftop.
STEP 01
Tell us what is happening
Call or send the quote form with the problem, the address and the kind of system. Emergencies go straight to the phone.
STEP 02
We measure before we touch it
A technician tests the system on site. Temperatures, pressures, airflow and electrical, so the repair fixes the cause and not the symptom.
STEP 03
You get the number first
The estimate is free. You hear what we found and what it costs before any work starts.
STEP 04
We fix it and prove it
The work gets done, the system gets tested again, and we do not leave until it is running right.
Financing through Hearth
Pay for a new system monthly
Financing through Hearth lets you check your monthly payment options without affecting your credit score, so a failed system does not have to wait for a cash decision.
How do I know if my AC needs repair or replacement?
If the system is under about 10 years old and the problem is a part like a capacitor, contactor or fan motor, repair usually makes sense. If the compressor has failed, the system uses an old refrigerant, or repairs keep stacking up, replacement is often the better money. We measure the system and give you both numbers so you can decide.
Why does my AC run all day in Houston and still not keep up?
The most common causes are low refrigerant from a leak, a dirty coil or filter, a failing capacitor, leaky ductwork in the attic, or a system that was undersized for the house. In July a healthy system can run long cycles, but it should still hold the thermostat setting.
Do you install ductless mini splits?
Yes. We install and service ductless mini split systems, including wall-mounted condensers on brackets, for additions, garages, and rooms that the central system does not reach.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Estimates are free, and you get the price before any work starts.
